About the project

The Google data center in Hamina located in a former paper mill originally built in the 1950s. The facility draws on the Baltic Sea to supply a uniquely designed critical cooling system with the facility generating 32MW of Data capacity, the second phase of a huge facility rollout initiative in Finland for Google.

What we did

Employed by the Electrical and BMS Subcontractor to provide Commercial Management and MEP Quantity Surveying services including procurement, change control, Contract administration, subcontract management and financial reporting from start to final account. Was also instrumental in establishing internal accounting protocols and supply chain contractual frameworks for UK company operating in mainland Europe enabling effective operation for future phases.
