About the project

Construction of a new 60+ megawatt, 25,000-square-metre multi-story Data Centre. Mons is a Walloon city and municipality, and the capital of the Belgian province of Hainaut. The project schedule was 9 months and formed part of Google’s fast track data center rollout initiative across Europe.

What we did

HUME Commercial & Planning Solutions were employed by the Main Contractor to provide MEP Quantity Surveying support in the production of a fully detailed QSOR for subcontractor tendering purposes with all measured elements being fully coded according to Google’s WPS protocol capturing key cost data.

HUME Commercial & Planning Solutions were also engaged on the next data phase to prepare a tender programme and associated phasing layouts for the construction of the next building. This included as-built data analysis, productivity/rates analysis, critical path analysis and project controls set up.
