About the project

Designed by Santiago Calatrava for Ashghal, the Qatari Government body for public works,  this mega-project comprised three iconic, record breaking steel road bridges, including the longest arch bridge in the world, a cable stayed bridge and a tubular bridge. All interconnected with circa 7km of underwater subsea immersed tube tunnels.

What we did

HUME Commercial & Planning Solutions were employed by the Project Management Consultant to develop all Pre-Contract Planning and Project controls documents. This included benchmarking studies, development of the master programme, QSRA analysis and detailing of all procedures and protocols from a planning and project controls standpoint.
